First things first… let’s pop the bubbles and celebrate you two!
Now we’ve got the most important thing done, let me introduce myself…
My name is Courtenay (Court) McCulloch and although I’m not one to talk about myself, I would describe myself as a warm and modern celebrant who is all about making your day about you.
With that in mind, let me quickly introduce myself with some things you need to know, because as I said, it’s about you!
I am here for your love.
I know that no two couples and two loves are the same - what makes you two, you two, is completely unique and I love hearing all about it.
I am calm and organised.
You’re already going to be a little nervous just before you marry the love of your life!
When you’re just about to go into your ceremony, you’ll know that together, we’ve created your dream ceremony, that I have everything organised & covered, and that I’ll be the calm, confident and friendly face up there with you.
I love listening and love writing.
The perfect combination for writing completely bespoke ceremonies that are all about you, in exactly the way you want it to be!
I am all about making your day YOURS.
Your day should be wholeheartedly yours.
So, whether it’s making sure that I align with the aesthetic for your day, ensuring I’m strategic in where I am during your ceremony to make sure I’m not in the back of all of your photos (especially your kiss and your exit!) or simply doing all that I can to make your ceremony exactly what you two imagine, it is so important to me that your day is all about you two!
What does the process look like?
You read through here and think, ‘this sounds like us!’, so you send me a message.
Hopefully, I’ll look at my calendar and I’ll have your date free!
I’ll pop a message back to you to organise a completely obligation-free coffee or drink (or BYO if we’re meeting online!) so that I can talk you through the process, have a good old chit-chat about your wedding and you can see if I am the right celebrant for you.
If we both decide that I am the right celebrant for you two - we’ll lock in your date… And then the fun bit begins!
I’ll ask you a million (and one) questions - about your ceremony, each other, your relationship and more; I’ll help and guide you with super handy tips, tricks, information and recommendations for all things ceremony, vows and more; and I’ll be here to answer any & all of your questions, too!
My biggest priorities are making sure your ceremony is genuinely you two, and that you feel heard and supported. Taking the time to actually get to know you will not only help me create a ceremony that you love but will make you feel right at home on your big day.
Your wedding day is almost here!!
Whether it’s the day before your wedding or a couple of days, we’ll go through your ceremony together, so that you two (and anyone else who is lucky enough to be a part of your ceremony) feels completely happy and confident on the day - of course, you don’t have to remember anything (as I’ll guide you through it all on the day) but it definitely helps to have gone through it once before!
Of course, you do not have to have a rehearsal, but it is definitely worth it to take a moment to have a quick run through, so you can just take a breath and take it all in on the day.
Your wedding day is here!
All you have to do is enjoy every moment.
I’ll be there early to help calm any nerves, to say hello to all of your family and friends, to guide you through your ceremony and to tick off any tasks that need to be done.
And then, we get you two married!
