We also felt like she genuinely cared about us and our wedding. It was very clear that she is super passionate about what she does.
Her communication was so organised, she gave us plenty of time to get back to her so we never felt pressured and we felt like we could take the time to really think about what to say in our answers etc. She also gave lots of advice and we loved the welcome booklet she sent through to us! It has so many great ideas and tips and she explained everything about the ceremony, wedding, and legal process along the way so we were never confused about anything.
At the wedding rehearsal we were confident the ceremony would go smoothly because she was so organised and onto it. She had thought of every little detail and we knew she would help us figure things out on the day as needed. It was so nice not having to worry about any of that knowing she had our backs.
On the day of the wedding it was comforting for Otis knowing that we had such a kind celebrant who would be a great source of support. The ceremony was absolutely amazing and the best part of our day. She managed to capture our story and who we were so well just from the questionnaires and the couple of times we'd met which was super impressive. It was written beautifully and reflected our sense of humour as well.
She also spoke so well - she was confident, animated, and smiley. She also created vow booklets and printed out the whole ceremony on such beautiful card too, it's been so incredibly special being able to read our full ceremony post-wedding and reliving it each time.

Courtenay was really wonderful to deal with from start to finish. She was always so pleasant via emails and in person. We knew after our first meeting she was the right fit for our ceremony. She's so friendly and welcoming and gives off such happy/feel good vibes.
She was the driver we needed in the process, very diligent and gentle reminders to get the questionnaires done. She was understanding of our limited time, juggling life/work and a toddler. She has a real talent with words and wrote such a beautiful ceremony, I actually cried when I first read it.
She was as excellent on the day as she was in the lead-up to the wedding. She even organised a rehearsal which was really useful to do a run-through and know where to stand/what to do when.

“We really don’t know where to start, because saying we were blown away with Court feels like such an understatement. The support and guidance she gave us was something we hadn’t even expected - she went above and beyond for us.
We both aren’t people who often share too many words on how we feel about each other, and it gave us time to reflect on those special moments we’ve had over the years amongst the chaos of having a young family (and working together in our business).
We had initially opted for a personalised ceremony. Saying all those sweet things to one another and making sure it was a special moment rather than just a formality, was really important to me. We are both quite laidback and more casual, so it was certainly a little daunting thinking about saying all these things in front of so many. From the first time we met Court, we knew we had chosen the right celebrant. Our wedding script was obviously our favourite part (besides getting to know Court 😊). The way she had incorporated things from our questionnaire into the script was incredible. The first time I read the script, I had tears in my eyes because of how personalised it was. She had captured Alex and I perfectly.
