If none do, please let me know, and we can create something even more bespoke for those moments. What are your names? * Your legal vows... Within your ceremony, you two each have to state that you take the other as your legal husband/wife/partner - the official wording is, "I, AB take you, CD to be my legal husband/wife/partner" or words to similar effect. This means, that as long as you make a statement, we have ticked that requirement! I've popped a few options for what we could have below. I, ________ take you, ________ to be my legal husband/wife/partner. I, ________ take you, ________ to be my lawfully wedded husband/wife/partner. I, ________ choose you, ________ to be my husband/wife/partner. In front of our family and friends, I, ________ take you, ________ to be my husband/wife/partner. If none of the above feel like you two, let me know if there is something that feels like you, and we can make sure it fits the requirement together! Or, if you like more than one, let me know and I'll write both options in so you can decide! Your ring exchange... You might like to simply exchange rings, you might like to say something as you give each other your wedding rings, or you might like to have an "I Do" moment as you do this... the choice is up to you! A simple ring exchange - "________, please take this ring and place it on ________'s finger." An exchange of words, option 1: "Please take this ring and place it on ________'s finger, and repeat after me - I give you this ring as a symbol of my everlasting love for you." An exchange of words, option 2: "Please take this ring and place it on ________'s finger, and repeat after me - "I give you this ring as a symbol of our commitment to each other." An exchange of words, option 3: "Please take this ring and place it on ________'s finger, and repeat after me - "I give you this ring as a token of my love for you as my wife/husband/partner. I am yours, today and forever." An exchange of words, option 4: "Please take this ring and place it on ________'s finger, and repeat after me - "With this ring, I thee wed," An 'I Do' moment - for example, as you slide one another's wedding ring halfway onto your finger, I'll ask you, "Do you promise to... (and we'll pop promises important to you two here!)" and you'll reply "I Do" before sliding the wedding ring fully onto the other's finger.
